About ApexApi
ApexApi is a unified, OpenAI-compatible AI API gateway. One key and one endpoint give you 120+ models from 20+ makers, across text, image, video and audio, plus live web context for agents. It is operated by Nitrotech Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Why we built it
The AI ecosystem is fragmented. Every provider ships its own SDK, its own key, and its own billing, and the moment you want to compare two models or switch between them you are re-integrating. We wanted one integration for all of it. Point any OpenAI-compatible client at ApexApi, use one ak- key, and call any model by changing a single string. Pay only for what you use, with no subscription and no lock-in.
What makes ApexApi different
- Every modality, plus the live web. Most gateways cover only chat models, and media platforms cover only images and video. ApexApi spans text, image, video and audio and adds live web context (scrape a page, crawl a site, or pull structured data) on the same key.
- A drop-in OpenAI interface. Change the base URL and key and keep your existing code and SDKs.
- Measured, not claimed. We run models through the real API path and publish our own measured success rate and latency on the rankings page. Those are our numbers, not vendor marketing.
- Transparent, pay-per-use pricing. Every model page shows its live price. You buy credits and pay for what you call.
